'didi' European Pop Sensation

New York , NY (Top40 Charts/ SeurJamz Entertainment) - A new fresh face in the music industry here in the states DiDi exemplifies the pursuit of the American dream. Born in Bulgaria, DiDi, had to endure a hostile environment. Her father was physically and emotional abusive towards her mother. This led the troubled teen to join a cult. She quickly found that her desire for belonging was actually an entrapment into another volatile situation. It is difficult for her to rehash the memories of being beaten and sexually harassed, but she attributes the experience to igniting her passion for music.
'Music has helped me survive through it all. When I listen to music, I "escape" in my own world. Knowing that in the end it was gonna be ok. That's what I wanna do for my fans. I want create fun songs they can relate to. Distract them from reality when going through tough times, and hopefully affect them positively.'

There were a few highlights in DiDi's childhood. Her grandparents purchased her a piano for her fifth birthday and by the age of seven it was apparent that she had a gift.
By the age of eleven she had written her first song, 'Dreams.'
Treble Clef Records signed a publishing deal with DiDi at the age of fifteen and she honed her writing skills by writing for established artists in her country, Milena, Kristina and Monica. She then gained employment as an actress by The Experimental Theatrical Academy, @lma @lter.DiDi is about bout to release her next album, 'Undressed.'
When I asked her what meaning she wanted to convey to her fans she replied, "Undressed" is my favorite song. It is about being free of your inhibitions, and to have fun, not taking anything too seriously, life is very serious by itself (smiling)'.
She further explained that she wants her music to lift the spirits of those that need lifting and provide entertaining music for those that love music. DiDi has been approached by several indie labels but remains true to the teachings of her mother, 'You are only as big as your dreams.' With influences like Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson DiDi is working diligently to accomplish her dream of becoming a super star.
